NWS Hosts Storm Spotter Class
March 12, 2014

Around 100 people attended the National Weather Service storm spotter training class Tuesday evening at the Calvary Baptist Church Family Life Center. The NWS provides the class annually at no cost to the public. Andy Bailey, warning coordination meteorologist at the NWS station at Pleasant Hill, conducted the class and also encouraged attendees to bookmark on their computer browsers the NWS's website. The NWS can also be found on Facebook and Twitter.

The Chillicothe Fire Department had several staff members present at the class to answer questions about local operations during severe weather.
