Chillicothe Fire Department Cones and Conversations

Josie and J.J. Peniston, both 5, received a variety of fire safety and awareness items geared for children from members of the Chillicothe Fire Department on Thursday night at the Chillicothe McDonald's during the annual Cones and Conversations event. Assistant fire Chief Eric Reeter said the annual event allows firefighters to interact with the community on a personal level. Six firefighters took part in the event where they handed out a variety of fire safety coloring books, provided by the Missouri State Fire Council, pencils and more to children and other community members.
